The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CBDS) is a scheme run by Medicare that provides eligible children (ages 2-17) up to $1,000 over 2 calendar years to pay for a range of dental services.
Eligibility is assessed by the government and it covers services such as check-ups, routine cleaning, repairing cracked teeth, fillings and root canals.
