Dr Chelvi Sathiakumar Dentist
Dr.Chelvi Sathiakumar graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1996. Building upon her
foundational education, she pursued a post-graduate clinical diploma in Fixed Prosthodontics and Endodontics at Royal Melbourne University, honing her skills in advanced dental procedures.
Her journey in dentistry began in 1999, working in a prestigious private practice at Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne. In 2009, she took a leap of faith and relocated to Sydney to fulfil her dreams of opening her own dental practice, where she could deliver personalised care to the community.
Her special interest are children’s dentistry and root canal treatments. Outside of dentistry, she finds joy in singing, practicing yoga and spending time with family and her children.
Dr Florina Thasanthan Dentist
Dr Florina has been part of the Team since 2011. Dr. Florina Thasanthan is a valued member of the Opal Dental team, specializing in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. With her expertise and dedication, she ensures that every patient receives personalized and compassionate treatment.
Dr Jacob Stretton Dentist
Dr. Jacob Stretton is a local Sydneysider, having grown up in the Blue Mountains and completing his dental degree from the University of Sydney in 2013. He has vast experience across all areas of dentistry having worked in multiple practices throughout rural and metropolitan NSW. Jacob has a special interest in surgical extractions and aesthetic dentistry.
Jacob likes to take the time to listen to his patient’s concerns and alleviate their anxiety. He is known
for his gentle touch and caring persona when in the clinic.
When not practising dentistry, you will find Jacob either going for a long run or playing music.
